The Engagement center
There are over 5,000+ young people ages 16-to-24 in the Flint Area who are not enrolled in school and are unemployed, also known as Opportunity Youth (OY). The Engagement Center connects Opportunity Youth to education, employment, and wraparound services to achieve financial success and independence.
University of Michigan-flint
GearUp2Lead has developed a partnership with the University of Michigan-Flint Doctor of Occupational Therapy program and the Social Work program. We have two graduate students and two undergraduate students who will complete their capstone projects with us this year.
